Life Cafe NINE83 in Brooklyn and some FUNNY GAMES.

Yesterday was odd. It rained nonstop and it was actually a little chilly out, but not because of the rain though, it was just cold. I did have a good time all day though. I mean, the rain was annoying as all hell, but it didn’t ruin the day as I thought it would. Honor and I went to Bushwick to meet Shirley and see some apartments, but when Honor and I tried to see them, everything got in the way, from the weather, to not having the keys and blah. So we decided to just eat at Life Cafe and oh man, it was awesome.

We ate all the food before I could take a picture.

[ I say "Oh Man" a lot ] Honor got this awesome dish with salsa and eggs and just awesomeness and I got the strawberry pancakes and sausage with scrambled eggs and everything was delicious. The coffee was dank as hell, haha, I love using slang, it’s great. We sat next to a really nice couple and we all laughed back and forth, haha, we were sitting in such close proximity we really had no choice.

The coffee was amazing.

After we finished eating we went over to Shirley’s place, hung out a little, tried to see another apartment, and then headed to McCarren Pool to meet up with Jarrod and his friends that are visiting from Chicago. The pool was okay, not many people, but just hanging out for once and not actually having to take photos was nice. I really got the chance to just talk and laugh with my friends and what not, something I rarely get to actually do when I’m “on assignment”.  After the pool we went on a full on search of a good spot to eat and ended up on Graham Avenue at this little Spanish spot and had a really inexpensive meal. The workers there were a little awkward, but had the biggest boobs I have ever seen and in the highest frequency I have ever seen in one place. All the women were packing some huge boobs, it was crazy and awesome. Yes. We finished eating and stuff and decided to rent a movie to finish off the night. We got FUNNY GAMES, the original Michael Haneke film and whoa, it is pretty much the most intense and gut wrenching film I have ever seen.

I have never been in more shock in my life. It was an awesome flick, but man, it would really suck to get tortured like that. Haha, or any other way. Lol.

We got to Mel’s house at about 2AM and watched Family Matters and Roseanne for awhile. I love both those shows, they are legitimately funny, unlike other popular shows in that genre, i.e Fresh Prince. I hate that show, except for the mom, who was funny as hell.

URKEL.

URKEL.

Anyway, I’m tired as hell now, and I have to be up early to do a product shoot for this online company…I’m nervous as hell. Wish me luck. Also, one of my friends has a bunion and he claims to have played footsies with a girl last night… what do you think about that?

Later nerds,

Antwan.
